Italian Upholstery have just provided my power boat with a replacement cockpit canopy and have made a superb job of it. I’m really delighted with the fit and the quality of workmanship. Marcel & Silvia were a delight to deal with and quoted a very realistic price. More to the point their promised timescale for delivery was kept. I can highly recommend.

Italian Upholstery have recently reupholstered 4 items for our new home and we are delighted with the results. One item was particularly complex with lots of buttons and piping and the result was excellent. Prices are very reasonable and the work is to a high standard. There are a good selection of fabrics available and turnaround was quick. As a result, Italian Upholstery have received further work from us. Overall, a pleasure to deal with. Marcel and Italia Upholstery & Covers UK were recommended to me by Mike West of West Marine Engineering Services, Brighton Marina who have efficiently serviced and maintained the engines and underwater gear on Nerissa for the past ten years.
I met Marcel on board Nerissa and discussed the new covers with him. He was most professional and came up with sensible suggestions on the make and quality of the canvas, I plastic and flexible window glass also fixing methods – heavy duty zips and sliders with turnbutton screw bases.
Marcel gave me a sensible fixed price for the whole job and we shook hands on the deal. Everything was completed in accordance with our agreed time schedule and I am nothing short of delighted with the quality and finish provided.
I have no hesitation in recommending Marcel – Italia Upholstery & Covers UK and I have told him that he is welcome to show potential customers the covers on board Nerissa of the Islands as an example of his excellent work.

Marcel has transformed 2 Queen Anne style chairs for us, which were in a dilapidated state and needed a complete overhaul inside and out. Marcel and Sylvia have carried out a really beautiful job on my motor cruiser – replacing cushions and backs with high quality vinyl and piping on the aft deck seats as well as a further cushion on the bridge and completely recovering and repairing the two bridge bucket seats.Their work is really first class. Furthermore, Marcel and Sylvia are completely reliable, respond promptly to e mails, provide precise quotes and work to them, and deliver in the time frame they have promised. Italian Upholstery have assisted us with a number of projects on both new and used boats. We have been delighted with their work, including canvas covers and upholstery. Sometimes all it needs is a new set of cushion covers to completely revitalise the interior of an older boat! Highly recommended.
